Investigating a Burning Smell
Problem:
When Jessica woke up to a freezing home and a burning smell coming from her basement, she thought there might be an issue with her furnace. Knowing we would pick up, Jessica called us at 6:30 am for emergency service. We sent the next available tech out to her home, and about an hour and a half later, he arrived.
Solution:
Our pro, Christian, arrived at Jessica’s home and immediately went to work checking her heating system for issues. Throughout the process, he explained the parts he was checking and his findings so Jessica was aware of the repairs he was making. Ultimately, Christian found that there were two main issues: a faulty inducer motor and a clogged air filter. He replaced both the inducer motor and air filter, leaving Jessica with a working heating system and peace of mind that her system was running safely.
