Investigating a Burning Smell

Problem:

When Jessica woke up to a freezing home and a burning smell coming from her basement, she thought there might be an issue with her furnace. Knowing we would pick up, Jessica called us at 6:30 am for emergency service. We sent the next available tech out to her home, and about an hour and a half later, he arrived.

Solution:

Our pro, Christian, arrived at Jessica's home and immediately went to work checking her heating system for issues. Throughout the process, he explained the parts he was checking and his findings so Jessica was aware of the repairs he was making. Ultimately, Christian found that there were two main issues: a faulty inducer motor and a clogged air filter. He replaced both the inducer motor and air filter, leaving Jessica with a working heating system and peace of mind that her system was running safely.

"We woke up this morning to no heat and a strange burning odor in the basement. A 6:30 a.m. emergency call is no fun for anyone, but CALFO picked up and was able to get a tech out to us ASAP. We were told the service window would be between 8 and 10 a.m....Christian arrived at 8:02 and was done by 8:30.
