Saving a Glenshaw homeowner from a scammy, expensive repair
Problem:
Kevin was having issues with his furnace, so he reached out to an HVAC company who told him that he needed to replace his heat exchanger. Wary of the price of the repair, Kevin decided to reach out to us for a second opinion.
Solution:
We sent one of our pros, Dylan, to Kevin’s house to check out his furnace and to see if his heat exchanger really needed to be replaced. After performing a diagnostic, Dylan found that the issue was with the blower motor, not the heat exchanger. Dylan suggested that Kevin have the blower motor updated and Kevin agreed. At the end of the day, we repaired Kevin’s furnace AND saved him from an extremely expensive (and in this case unnecessary) repair.
