Diagnosing a Squealing Furnace

Problem:

When Matt noticed that his furnace was making a grinding/squealing noise, he decided to reach out to us. We spoke with Matt about what he could expect from us, and on the day of his appointment, we texted him to tell him which tech would be coming to his home, and the estimated time of arrival.

Solution:

When our tech, Christian, showed up to check out Matt's furnace, he instantly had an idea of what was wrong with the system. After looking at the furnace in more detail, Christian diagnosed the squealing/grinding noise as coming from a misaligned blow motor. Christian realigned the motor and Matt's furnace was back up and running in no time.
